Restaurants
in Puerto Morelos
Puerto
Morelos has a variety of great places to eat. Not only do restaurants offer
Mexican and Maya cuisine but the foreigners who have settled here have brought
their native cuisine as well. Look for dishes from Germany, Italy, Argentina,
Texas and Canada along with Yucatecán delicacies like Cochinita Pibil. And keep
in mind that you are staying in a traditional fishing village so when the menu
states, "Catch of the Day" they really do mean it. The
owners can usually be found in the kitchen either cooking or overseeing your
meal and this personal touch is what makes dining in Puerto such a treat. But
there is no need to dress up—it’s strictly casual here– bare feet and
bathing suits will not be turned away.
